Through contracts with area businesses, we provide consultation, training, assessment and referral to employees and their families. Members may either be self referred or referred by a supervisor as the result of deteriorating job performance. The purpose of an EAP is to restore employee productivity and to retain valuable employees through this early intervention process. Services are strictly confidential.
Family Forum.
The Family Forum is a five week educational counseling program for people who are involved with someone who drinks, drugs, gambles or eats too much. The focus is on understanding the addiction and what it does to family members and how people can being to take care of self, feel better and begin to get results in dealing with the addicted loved one.
Planned Intervention.
Planned Intervention is a process of working with family and concerned people of an addicted person. First, we focus upon understanding the addiction as a family disease and how they feel when they are confronted with the addict's behaviors. The key is being able to communicate to the addict with feelings, facts, love and concern - in a way that allows the addict to hear them. We work toward moving the addict into treatment.
