Eating Disorder Recovery & Other Services
Groups:
- Addiction (alcohol, drugs, gambling) focusing upon abstinence and recovery, feeling good about self and relapse prevention.
- Co-dependency focuses upon how addictive behaviors affect family members and how members can begin to feel better and get results.
- Anger Management focusing on understanding our anger and developing positive ways to deal with anger. (6 weeks)
- Domestic Violence (8 weeks)
- Food Addiction dealing with one's relationship with food and developing a healthy lifestyle - often it isn't what we eat that is creating problems, but what is eating us.

- Planned interventions according to schedule
- Individual, couple, and family therapies according to clinician and client schedules
- Psychiatric evaluation and medication management for active clients in treatment t FIC
- We are a licensed Substance Abuse and licensed Mental Health Outpatient Clinic
- We have clinicians who speak Spanish, Portuguese and French
- Internships for graduate students majoring in Social Work, Human Services, and Marriage and Families
- Drug and Alcohol Counselor Training Program
Intensive Outpatient:
As of February 1, 2013, we began a substance abuse Intensive Outptient Program , meeting 3 days a week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) from 9 AM to 12 noon.
We will also offer a late afternoon IOP. Sandy Vargas is the Program Coordinator. She has a master's degree in social work and is a license substance abuse counselor. The program staff are bilingual and in the near future, we will offer the program in Spanish.
